About Dr Ashwin Mittal
Dr Ashwin Mittal (BDS 2018) is the principal dentist and owner of the practice. He graduated from the University of Plymouth, gaining clinical experience across the South West including a year in Truro, Cornwall.
Since qualifying, he has worked across a range of practices throughout the UK, from mixed practices to fully private clinics including in Heathfield, Fulham (London), Mawsley, and Brighton/Shoreham. This has provided him with broad experience treating patients of all ages, backgrounds, and varying dental needs.
Full Circle to Uckfield
Having previously lived in Uckfield between 2019 and 2021, returning to the area to take on The Hollies Dental felt like a natural full-circle moment. The strong sense of community and the people here were a big part of that decision.
Clinical Approach & Philosophy
With a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry, Dr Ash focuses on delivering natural, aesthetic results while always prioritising long-term oral health. The practice combines modern techniques with a personalised, patient-first approach; ensuring every individual feels comfortable, informed, and fully confident in their treatment. Whether you are visiting for routine care or a cosmetic transformation, the aim is always the same: high-quality dentistry tailored to you.
Continued Development & Training
Dentistry is constantly evolving, and Dr Ash is committed to ongoing education and development. He regularly attends advanced courses, including training in composite bonding techniques, minimally invasive dentistry principles such as the Align, Bleach, Bond concept, and has completed a Certificate in Implant Dentistry with the VSS Academy. He plans to further develop this area under mentorship with experienced clinicians.
About Emma Dutton
Emma is an experienced dental nurse with over 10 years in the profession and plays a key role within the practice. Having worked closely alongside Dr Mittal for the past three years, they have developed a strong working relationship that allows for a smooth, efficient, and comfortable experience for patients.
Alongside her dental nursing, Emma has completed advanced training in facial aesthetics with the Derma Institute in Central London. She is starting her journey to develop her skills in this area, with a focus on delivering natural, subtle results.

About Elzbieta Kisiala
Ela began her career in dentistry in 2012, qualifying as a dental nurse in 2013. Since then, she has gained valuable experience working in both private and NHS practices, treating a wide range of patients and developing a well-rounded approach to care.
In 2019, she qualified as a dental hygienist in Poland and has since continued to expand her skills. She has completed additional training that enables her to administer local anaesthetic when required, helping to ensure patient comfort during treatment.
She offers direct access appointments, meaning patients can book to see her without a referral from a dentist.
Her services include routine hygiene appointments, periodontal (gum) treatments, and air-polishing stain removal to help maintain a healthy, confident smile.
